In less than two weeks, people across the city will be celebrating Halloween! Which means there will be so many fun and exciting events taking place in Astoria. So, why not head out in your costume and have a great time? In addition, remember that too much candy can absolutely increase your risk of decay, so be sure you’re brushing and flossing too!
What’s Happening in Astoria This Halloween?
- Halloween Costume Party: On Saturday, October 28th the Albatross Bar will be hosting a Halloween Costume Party. The party starts at 11pm and there is no cover. There will a costume contest and prizes. The Albatross Bar is located on 37th Street and 24th Avenue.
- Dance Until You Drop Halloween Costume Ball: Icon Astoria (located at 31-84 33rd Street) will be hosting a Dance Until You Drop Halloween Costume Ball on Saturday October 28th until Sunday October 29th. Admission is free, there is no cover, and there will be a Live DJ, as well as drink specials, contests, and prizes.
- Katch’s Monster Mash Halloween Party: Katch Astoria will be hosting a Halloween party on October 22nd at 8pm. There will be fun decorations, drink specials, and a DJ.
- Halloween at the Garden: The Queens Botanical Garden (located at 43-50 Main Street) will be hosting Halloween at the Garden on Sunday, October 29th from noon until 4pm. The event is free with garden admission. Kids can make a craft, show off their costumes, watch a magic show, and fill up your trick or treat bags! Kid can also meet Flora, the Queens Botanical Garden mascot!
