What’s Happening in Astoria?
Smashworks Dance Collective and Roots in Revolution: On March 4th and 5th at 8pm Green Space will be hosting Take Root presents Smashworks Dance Collective and Roots in Revolution. The works tackle gender inequality and spiritual/emotional growth. Admission is $15 and tickets are available at the door or online by visiting www/greenspacestudio.com/
Night Bazaar: Gottscheer Hall will be hosting a Nigh Bazaar on Friday, March 5th from 5pm until 11pm. There will be gifts, food, and drinks from over 40 different artisans and vendors. New Works Showcase: Fertile Grounds will be debuting new dance works at the Green Space on March 6th from 7pm until 9pm. This will be the tenth season and feature between five and six different choreographers. Tickets are $12 and available online (www.greenspacestudio.org/
Impermanent Landscape: Dance Entropy will be hosting Impermanent Landscape at the Green Space from March 17th until March 20th, times varying. Online tickets are $20 and at the door are $20. This is a world premier performance.
