Community Events
Pre-Valentine’s Day Market: The Pre-Valentine’s Day Shopping Event will be held at the Bohemian Beer Garden on January 31st from noon until 6pm. It will be at the main hall, featuring homemade and vintage items for sale, a bar, and traditional Czech and Slovak meals. Admission is free.
Valentines Nite Terrarium Class: You can create a custom-made terrarium at Luludi Living Art on February 13th from 6pm until 7pm. Admission includes snacks, wine, and materials. The event takes place at 23-07 24th Avenue. The class is limited to six couples, so make reservations early by calling 1-888-958-5834 or visiting www.luludi.net/terrarium-class-valentines-nite.
Stichin’ Queens Bi-Weekly Meeting: The Stichin’ Queens will be hosting a meeting at the Panera Bread on February 3rd from 6:30pm until 8:30pm. Meets are held every other week and include knitters, crotcheters, and needlepointers. You can RSVP by email at [email protected] and to receive last minute updates. January Craft Social: Optimistic Crafts will be hosting a January Craft Social on January 30th from noon until 7pm. The event is a Fix & Finish Day. Bring your unfinished project or clothing that needs mending for repair. There will be drinks and snacks. Suggested fee is $5.
