Do you wonder if cosmetic dentistry is for you? The fact is, if you want a more attractive smile then you need cosmetic services. We understand that a more attractive smile can be a source of renewed confidence. We also understand that a beautiful smile is often a healthy one and free of disease or decay.
How Does Cosmetic Dentistry Work?
With cosmetic dentistry we use procedures designed to address a variety of esthetic concerns, such as stained or misshapen teeth. While these procedures are primarily meant to address only the appearance of your smile, correcting cosmetic issues may also improve the function and overall health of your smile. In addition, during treatment the doctor can identify any other possible problem areas, recommending treatment before an issue progresses.
What Procedures Do You Offer?
We offer a number of different options for improving the overall appearance of your teeth and gums, such as:
- Teeth Whitening: We offer a system you can use at home to remove stains. Patients wear a custom-made tray filled with a powerful bleaching gel. You may wear them for a short time daily or overnight. Optimal results typically take about a week to ten days.
- ClearCorrect: A barely noticeable alternative to braces, ClearCorrect uses a series of plastic trays to address minor alignment issues in patients 16 and older. Treatment takes about a year.
- Bonding and Contouring: Bonding uses a composite resin to restore lost structure and contouring involves removing thin layers of structure to remove pits or grooves in the surface.
- Gum Contouring: By reshaping the gum line this procedure corrects gummy smiles and improves your appearance.
- Veneers: A thin restoration made from porcelain, we place veneers to change the appearance of the tooth and mask stains and issues with the tooth’s shape.
