Once again, it’s time to discuss community events! This weekend you can check a number of fun events in Astoria, NY, from the Broadway Astoria Festival to dancing! - Broadway Astoria Festival: The Broadway Astoria Festival will take place on Sunday, September 30th on Broadway between Crescent Street and 47th Street. The festival lasts from 10am until 6pm. Admission is free and there will be over 365 local vendors, with arts and crafts, food, live music, antiques, and more.
- In Living Color Day Party: Hot 97 will be hosting an In Living Color Day Party on Saturday, September 29th from 4pm until 10pm. The event will take place at Fusion Lounge NY (34-19 Steinway Street). There will be a full service food menu, bottle specials, and packages available. Be sure to wear your favorite color!
- International Saturdays: Tantra Lounge will be hosting International Saturdays on September 29th at 10pm. The event is free and features music by different DJs every weekend. This weekend will be Latin themed. The club is located at 35-50 31st Street.
- Astoria Tango Club: If you’re interested in learning the tango, then sign up at the Astoria Tango Club on the 2nd floor of 41-01 Broadway. There are classes for beginners, intermediates, and experts alike. There are also special events and live music as well.
