- Astoria Flea: Astoria Flea and Food at Kaufman will feature the Muyu Market entrepreneur market for kids on Sunday, September 16th at Kaufman Astoria Film Studios, 35-23 35th Avenue. The market will be open from 11am until 6pm. Your child can learn all about starting and operating a business!
- Triboro Adventure Tour: The Triboro Adventure Tour Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, September 15th at 2919 24th avenue, in Astoria. Participants should check in at each checkpoint to receive a personalized trophy at the completion of the race. There will be also be cash prizes and a post-race celebration at the Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden. The race will take you from Queens to Manhattan and through the Bronx before returning to Queens.
- BYOB Painting: The Paint Place will be hosting a BYOB French Landscape painting class on Sunday, September 16th from 1pm through 3pm. The class will take place at 31-21 31st Street, between 31st Avenue and Broadway. The class is open to participants 18 and older and will walk you through the steps to paint your own landscape masterpiece!
