Upcoming Community Events
- Alisa Roth: Book Culture LIC will be hosting an event celebrating author Alisa Roth’s new book Insane: America’s Criminal Treat of Mental Illness. The event is free and takes place on April 28th at 7pm at 26-09 Jackson Avenue.
- Spring Mini Photo Session: Photographer Mariana Martinis will be hosting a spring mini photo session on April 29th at the Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park at 1395 Planting Fields Road. The event lasts from 10am until 4pm and costs $150 per session. Each session lasts 30 minutes and you recieve an online gallery of 40-50 images, with 10 images of your choice being retouched and edited. - Paint Your Pet: The Paint Place will be hosting a BYOB Paint Your Pet event on April 29th from 1pm until 3pm. The costs is $60 and includes all the supplies you need to complete your masterpiece.
