We offer a number of different cosmetic treatments, but all with a single goal: improve the esthetics of your smile. While some procedures are designed to target a specific problem, such as discoloration or a gummy smile, others can correct several different issues. Will veneers improve your smile’s beauty?

Answer Key
- True. The process involves preparing the tooth by removing a thin layer of enamel. We will then take impressions of the teeth, which will be used by a dental lab in the creation of the restorations. Once they have been fabricated, we will check the fit and after making any necessary adjustments, place the new restoration onto the front of the tooth/teeth.
- False. We can actually use them to correct the appearance of minor misalignment issues. While technically, this doesn’t correct the problem, it helps you enjoy the appearance of a more even smile.
- True. Some teeth stains, known as intrinsic stains, form below the tooth enamel and are very difficult to remove. Fortunately, we can use veneers to successfully mask them and help you maintain a brighter smile. Intrinsic stains can be caused by injury to the tooth/teeth, fluorosis, and tetracycline exposure.
- True. Bonding can be used to repair chipped teeth or mask permanent discoloration as well. Instead of suing a thin shell of porcelain, bonding uses a composite resin. If you have stained teeth, we can use bonding for the rear and side teeth and veneers for the front. This is often a cost-effective option for masking permanent discoloration and ensuring your smile is esthetically pleasing.
