We like to take time each month in our blog to talk about Astoria. We feel privileged to be able to help patients in such a wonderful and diverse community. Community Events
- Modern Dance at Green Space: You can learn Hawkins-Based Modern Dance with instructor Valerie Green from now until December 20th. The entire 15 class series is $250 and drop-in classes cost $20 each. The courses are open to adult beginners. You can register by calling 718-956-3037 or emailing [email protected]. The Green Space is located at 37-24 24th Street Suite #301.
- Two Juice Minimum: Mark Malkoff hosts a late-night style comedy event just for kids. There will be sketches, jokes, and videos, as well as prizes and games. Admission is $15 per family and is recommended for kids between the ages of four and nine. Two Juice Minimum takes place at Q.E.D. on 27-16 23rd Avenue. The show takes place on Saturday at 10am.
- Dance Ensemble Concert: Take in Croatia’s premiere Zagreb Folk Dance Ensemble Concert. The two-hour show features songs, dance, and plenty of Croatian culture.
