The doctor will prepare the teeth on either side of the gap. Impressions will be taken and used by a dental lab to create the bridge. The prosthetic contains crowns attached to the artificial teeth. The crown is then placed onto the prepared teeth, holding the new ones in place.
Dental Implants
We also offer a more lifelike and longer lasting alternative. Dental implants don’t rely on crowns; they are instead inserted directly into the jawbone. The implant then bonds with the jawbone, acting as a new tooth root. Finally, once the area heals we will place a dental crown onto the implant.
