Fun Community Events

Socrates Sculpture Park Greenmarket: You can enjoy a market, yoga classes or art workshops at the Socrates Sculpture Park on November 21^st from 8am until 4pm.

Learn to Knit: On November 21^st from 1pm until 3pm you can learn to knit with a 2 hour session from Optimistic Crafts. Admission is $45 with materials included or $30 if you bring your own supplies. You can drop-in or register ahead of time. The event is located at 37-02 Astoria Blvd. South at 37^th street, 3^rd floor number 302.

Annual Tree Lighting: On December 4^th you can attend the annual tree lighting from 7pm until 10pm at the Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden.

Astoria Holiday Market: The Astoria Holiday Market will be open on December 6^th from noon until 6pm. Admission is free and the event is located at the Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden. There will be vendors selling art, jewelry, toys, chocolates, clothing and accessories, and homemade gifts and crafts. There will also be food, drink, and desert. The event will also be held on the 13^th and the 20^th.

Astoria Pop Up Shop: D.Webb Designs will be hosting a year-end Pop Up Shop at the Sol Dance Center on December 6^th from 1pm until 4pm. You can buy clothes, review new clothing lines, and enjoy prizes. Refreshments will include Mimosas, coffee, and fun snacks.
