Cerebrate the coming fall with free classes for you and the entire family; learn a new skill or hobby this weekend.

Free Yoga Classes: On September 19th from 9:30am until 10:30am you can enjoy free yoga lessons at the Socrates Sculpture Park. The lessons are open to people of all experience levels. Admission is free and participants don’t need to RSVP beforehand.
Free Clay Classes for Kids: Children between the ages of 5 and 13 can enjoy free sculpture lessons at the Socrates Sculpture Park on September 19th from noon until 3pm. The event is free and there is no need to RSVP unless you have a group of ten or more. If you have a large group please call 718-956-1819 a week before.
Learn to Knit: Optimistic Crafts will be hosting a two hour course on knitting on September 19th from 1pm until 3pm. Cost is $45 with materials included. You can also bring your own materials and pay $30. The event will be located at 37-02 Astoria Blvd. South at 37th Street, 3rd floor #302. They encourage RSVPs but if you want top drop-in that’s okay too.
Learn to Crochet: If you want to learn to crochet then visit Optimistic Crafts on Saturday, September 19th from 3:30pm until 5:30pm. You can enjoy a two-hour class on crocheting. Cost is $45 for materials included. The event is primarily for adults but kids over the age of eight are welcome.
New Works Showcase: Green Space will be showcasing new dance works on Sunday September 20th from 7pm until 9pm. Tickets are $12. The event will be located at 37-24 24th Street, #301, Long Island City, NY 11101.
