Upcoming March Events In Astoria

While it may not feel like it some days, spring is just around the corner. As we get closer to sunnier weather, there are plenty of fun community events taking place. In addition, if you want to enjoy a more attractive smile in time for the new season, then give us a call. We offer a number of cosmetic treatments designed to improve the esthetics of your smile.

Community Events

  1. Dunces and Dragons: Q.E.D. will be hosting Dunces & Dragons: A Comedy Show on Wednesday at 7:30pm. Q.E.D. is located at 27-16 23rd Avenue. Comedians will be subjected to D&D situations and must roll the 20-sided dice to find a solution. Admission is $7.
  2. Oyster Tasting and Shucking Class: John Greenpoint Fish and Lobster Co will be offering classes on oyster tasting and shucking on March 2nd from 8pm until 9:30pm. Admission is $45. Beverages will be provided by Bluepoint Brewing Company and light snacks will also be available. After the class, the tools needed to shuck oysters will be available for purchase.
  3. Conflict is Not Abuse: The Astoria Bookshop will present an interview with author Sarah Schulman about her latest book, Conflict is Not Abuse. She will be interviewed by fellow author Autumn Whitefield-Madrano. Admission is free and the discussion will take place at the Astoria Bookshop (39-21 31st Street) on March 3rd from 7pm until 8pm.
  4. Open Run Astoria Park: NYRR will be hosting an open run at the Astoria Park Running Track (Astoria South and 18th Street) on March 4th from 8:45am until 10am. Admission is free.
